Features of the Scheme
Promoting and strengthening the research environment in medical colleges. To ensure the geographical reach of health research, inclusion of underserved and less-served medical colleges and other institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
For the establishment of the proposed Multidisciplinary Research Units (Non-Communicable Diseases), it is necessary to have 300 sq. meters of available space. Additionally, faculty from the Microbiology Department and 4 to 5 published research papers by them must be available. A gap analysis between the available and required infrastructure, equipment, and furniture for the laboratory and research must be conducted, and the proposal in the prescribed format should be submitted to the Health Research Department of the Central Government.
